A NSV that is changing my life!

Widely experienced, so I know I am preaching to the converted… but the sleep/ease of waking up/being able to get up feeling rested and energetic I am experiencing on keto is changing my life.

The biggest short-term benefit is that keto is extending my life by giving me extra hours every day! I used to wonder how people could be so ‘awake’ and ready to go in the mornings when for me, it would take at least a couple of hours before I felt ok. Now, every morning(!) I wake up feeling as rested as I would have after what I would have previously described as ‘the best sleep ever’ - and those sleeps only ever happened very occasionally!

I don’t have words to describe how thrilled I am!

That’s wonderful, Natasha (and I am super-jealous). How long were you doing keto before you noticed this NSV kicking in? (Can I still live in hope? :slight_smile: )

I have been keto for 4 weeks, I noticed my sleep improving almost as soon as I went into ketosis, and it keeps getting better. How long have you been keto?

I’ve found that I fall asleep much faster and sleep more deeply. This is great if I don’t get woken up until morning, but on a couple occasions I had to get up in the middle of the night (once for son throwing up and once just because my husband came to bed a couple hours after me and decided he needed a question answered immediately). Both times I had a horrible time shaking sleep and felt really heavy and foggy.

I think it helps put me in such a deep sleep that I can’t fully wake until I’ve had at least 7 hours.
At which time I am bright eyed and bushy tailed.
