Last Friday I started a fast. My first day was a water fast and I started taking 50 billion FCU Probiotics. Saturday, I’ve been doing probiotics once a day, bone broth with lemon and peppermint five times a day, and have been dealing with sharp pain in my colon.
I have a bunch of issues including IBS and too many food sensitivities. I started the keto diet a month back. But feel I needed to clean my system out.
Is it normal to have pain when taking probiotics? Is there anything I should do?
since you started? I’m not familiar with IBS and I’ve never had any issues with my probiotics so this is just a story based on my own experience, but I get sharp pains that are basically ‘just’ constipation when I fast if I don’t deal with what’s in there before I start. Makes me uncomfortable and cranky alright.
