Words fail. All mammalian life is carried and born of females, and is precious in its own way. Beautiful bovines spend so many days and nights growing on the range and through many seasons (though most live in feed lots their last few months). They contain SO much life that deserves stewardship and care - and the nourishment they can provide upon their death feeds so much more life!
Food wastage such as this is heinous - and was unheard of in times past.
This, in a world where a global food crisis is in full swing - and these contamination recalls from industrial suppliers keep happening. The industrial food system is far beyond repair.
All because of salmonella, which can be cooked out of the meat? Why not commandeer the meat and cook it up and sell it as cooked patties?
I hate this insanity.
