Any one else stall so close to their first major goal?? I stated at 110kg in June. I am aiming to get to 100kg (1st major goal) as soon as I can, I am now 101.1kg!!! Have been looking at those numbers for the last 2+ months. I go up and down .5kg every few days but never past it. Any ideas?? My macros are 20gc, 50gp, 180-200gf. 2000+cals. 168cm sedentary female.
4 months in from Australia and stalled 1.1kg from my first goal! How frustrating!
Up your fat! That’s what I did when I plateaued and it worked- in accordance with hunger still though. Plateaus are normal, just your body adjusting to a new set weight and hitting the pause button. This WOE does more than just shed pounds too- you might not be losing on the scale but other exciting good stuff is happening in your bod.
KC&KO!
Have you tried doing a fast? For some just IFing 14, 16, 18, or 20 hrs. a day helps move the scale. For others it is a 36 or 42 hr. fast. Just make sure you eat lots of fat on the first refeed day’s meals, then KCKO.
You might find this video helpful:
Double the fat for 2-3 days (to increase metabolic rate) then fast the shorter of 3-4 days or until your hands and feet start to feel cold (an indication that metabolic rate has lowered).
I have heard/read many people breaking through a plateau with something similar to this.

Love all the suggestions above.
I’ll throw out this idea.
Get your carbs to zero for a week.
You won’t get there, but that’s fine.
If you allow 20 carbs, you’ll go over often.
I broke my plateau by fasting for a week.
Worked great.
Fasting is the best! Fat melts off - make sure you’re in ketosis to start (eat high fat) then
STOP eating, drastically cut calories. I find that I can eat about 300 calories a day on a “fast” but up in the 90% fat range. Keep that up for approximately 3 days. Plateau will be history
