Wow. I feel great. Lost 13 lbs.

It seems so odd to be sucking in salt and fat but I love not waking up bloated and gross when I had salt with carbs.

I still am terrified of having blood work done. Just two eggs in Kerrygold, an avocado and some cream in my coffee and fitness pal is telling me im in the red for cholesterol for the day. I guess I’m still not sold on the science of this.

Regardless, 13 down! And I feel great. I haven’t even had the need to drink much alcohol. Seems like in the past I would suck down beers to help with the blood sugar drop and associated crankiness. Not anymore. Now I’m in a good mood. Wife is so confused. Haha.

I think it can take a while to move away from the “fat is bad” mindset. It might help you to scroll through the science threads. There are some great videos that help explain blood lipids and keto (bonus if your wife is patient enough to sit down with you and watch them!).
