2nd time around

In 2017 I lost about 70 pounds in 5 months. Pretty strict low carb and some keto. Had a pretty large set back and gained back 90 of it after a few deaths in the family. Got serious about 3 weeks ago and have already dropped 14 pounds. Has anyone ever had to start over after lots of success? If so how was the 2nd time around?

I have technically started 3 times. All within a year lol. The first time was April to May, around 4 weeks. I lost about 15 lbs.
Switched to more of a low carb approach through the spring and summer and gained 10 lbs back. Went keto again in August and lost 12 lbs. Got off track through the holidays and gained it all back. Started the third time on Christmas Day and lost and gained the same 3 lbs for weeks. Cut out dairy and instantly lost a few lbs. Started eating it again and have gained most of those back. Joining the “dairy free March” challenge ( https://www.ketogenicforums.com/t/dairy-free-march-2019/77034 ) next week, so hopefully will start seeing results again.

I am fat adapted again though, so even though I’m not losing weight, I feel good. I’m 5’6” and range between 140 and 150, so the body tends to like to hold onto those lbs :triumph:
