Welcome and thanks for sharing your story Art. It’s hard not to believe in angels when we find answers in our darkest hour. LCHF is truly a blessing for some of us.

Wow. Wow. Wow.
Trauma does have its own special way of sending us into a downward spiral! Climbing out of it can take years, and sadly, in many cases- climbing out never happens. I am so glad and thankful that you were able to grasp onto Keto, and prove that it can be done!

You’re doing a terrific job. Your focus and commitment are exemplary. Having experienced the loss of my immediate family, I know how hard it is to share, and write about such emotionally painful events. But I’ve found that it helps in the healing process. You may never know how many people will be saved by your example, your courage, and the inspiration found in your post.

Please keep us updated with your progress.

Welcome to the forum, Art. I am sorry that you had so much tragedy occur in your life that sent you on that downward spiral; but so happy for you that you recognized it and are on the road to rectifying it and healing yourself, body and soul before it was too late. Congratulations for that, and best wishes on your continued road to success and maintenance afterwards.
