I’m 46 5’3 and weighed 173 when I started. My whole diet consisted of carbs and sugar. Went keto and lost 15 pounds in the first 20 days now I’m in week 4 and nothing? Is this normal? Have I maxed out my weight loss already?

I lost 40-pounds over six months and stalled at 165. I am starting intermittent fasting (16 hour fast and 8 hour feed) to try and break the stall. Maybe try some fasting starting at 12/12 and working up to longer fasting intervals? I just started and lost a couple pounds. 16/8 is pretty easy. My last meal is at 7:30pm and my next meal is at 11:30am. I only drink water though, nothing else during the 16 hours.
No problem for sure was just asking if this is normal and if I keep at it will I lose more or did I max out? Loving the diet feel GREAT!! Even if I don’t lose more feel sooo much better (but was hoping for more) would like to lose another 15…
Yes I’ve got friends doing keto who started that when they stalled. I will try it if I stay at that weight for another week or so thanks for the advice and kudos for losing that much weight hope I get there!!
It’s perfectmy normal and no, you haven’t maxed out your weight loss potential. I would think something were were wrong with you if you didn’t have slow downs (or dare I say even gains) from time to time.
If you gave a breakdown of what you eat, the old pros here could give you some tips on how to get it moving again, but I wouldn’t worry too much right now.
