instead of adding more carbs, how about adding more fat? or even protein, for satiety?
When is enough loss enough?
I’m now down to mainly meat once a day - but too much fat causes GI issues.
I relate to your post, and I would like to suggest a mental exercise…
Because you said “When I win that battle in my mind…”
Reflect on that statement.
- The battle is ONLY in your mind
- You cannot Win such a battle, ever
- Freedom requires letting go/detachment, and usually forgiveness!
So, forgive yourself your mistakes. Let go of the battle, it’s not a challenge, you actually don’t even see yourself in the mirror… You see your preconceived notion of yourself once your brain notices it is you.
There is a mirror exercise I learned years ago. Where you look at your hand, and then at your hand in the mirror, and you smile at it, and you state out loud how grateful you are to have that hand! (Wow, right!)… And you do that to your legs, and your various body parts. IMAGINE being WITHOUT that body part if you are some how let down by it, and ask “Would I rather NOT have this foot, or my hips?”…
When you put it in that perspective you should see that you have been WITHHOLDING SELF LOVE, until you do something. Which is Conditional Love.
To me, this implies DEEPLY that someone you trusted, who should have known better, gave you VERY OBVIOUS conditional love, OR you felt you had to ACHIEVE in order to get their attention/love…
Forgive them. Forgive yourself on behalf of your imperfect body. Ask your body for forgiveness, and and accept its answer and LOVE IT EVERY DAY, it’s the only one you are getting…
Bless you!
