Unable to loose Subcutaneous belly fat

#41

I’m joking- can’t remember the last time I had a bath, it’s the shower for me only.

Sometimes I think about people who go to a pond or something, break the ice, have a bath and come out and do whatever they need to do to survive as the air is -50C…
I never ever will be comprehend that but even if I could have 5C showers in winter, I would know it’s so, so adorable  But I still could feel good about myself and hope for benefits.
We will see, we will see. Soon the weather gets colder and the real challenge begins!

Really cooling down the body obviously result in a bigger need of energy to warm it up (even though we have plenty of excess heat normally, some long cold bath must have some effect and according to the video I saw, it indeed has). I have no idea where it is significant, surely not at my current level…

Thanks for the info

There are people ( I see on TV) swear by liposuction…but to be clear, I wouldn’t!
Thankfully I don’t need to anyway.

It’s expensive, there can be complications, there can be asymetrical results and there is a long recovery period.

I think much better (If the person is very large) to lose as much weight possible naturally (or even by gastric balloon or band if morbidly obese), and then, if so desire, have excess skin surgically removed in what I think is a less riskier procedure (skin tuck)?
I don’t know, I don’t know what I’m talking about- I just watched a couple of TV programmes on it!!

Best to do things naturally, otherwise all sort of problems will occur later on.

My sister in England (she would be about 50 yrs old I think ) recently found herself putting on a fair bit of weight.

I’ve tried to get her to do keto, but she’s too stubborn. Likes her carbs too much she admits!
I told her, ‘you’re just going to get bigger the way you are going.’

She now goes to the gym 3 times a week, and hasn’t lost any weight (although true, she may be fitter).
But she’s getting sciatica at present, and I wouldn’t be surprised if lugging around that weight/exercising with the added bulk has been a contributing factor.

Anyway, a year or so ago she got a gastric balloon inflated in her stomach…and she did lose weight as obviously she couldn’t physically eat as much.
But it is a temporary measure, and once the balloon was removed she put the weight back on and some. :see_no_evil::bomb:

That’s good (okay nope as she undid it), I have heard about people where it didn’t help. They just ate even when it became painful so they truly needed an impossible situation to stop eating. And I guess, many dense little meals “help” too… though I don’t know how exactly those things work.
My personality is very much against such things, I should just be able to eat right, at least somewhat… My health needs it anyway. I don’t judge people doing it at all, I just want to change through natural ways

Another thing l was looking at was breathing ie Wim Hoff ,will this make any difference to subcutaneous belly fat?

#50

$130 a year to be told how to breathe?

I think I can (and my body can) figure that one out by myself lol.

But each to their own!

#51

Lmao.

Wim Hoff breathing is very, uhhh… specific xD

Whether it has any effect on belly fat though I have no idea, and I would have thought you could learn how to breathe this way without sinking big bucks into it.

Would pay ,plenty of online stuff on this subject.
Steady state cardio started .Let’s see how it goes
