I dont under how to calculate so my husband & I can start our journey to lose about 150 lbs?

Can anyone help? We only know about Keto from what we see on YOUTUBE!

You don’t need to know your TDEE on keto. Especially if you have 150lbs to lose you would get most of the way there just making sure you stay under 20g carbs per day, moderate protein (1-1.5g per 1lbs lean body mass) and otherwise fat until satiation. Eat when you’re hungry and stop eating when you’re not hungry.

TDEE calculations are pretty inaccurate anyway.

You can use https://ketodietapp.com/Blog/page/KetoDiet-Buddy to calculate macros. Chronometer.com or My Fitness Pal are good programs for tracking food, exercise, etc.

Keto is keeping your Net Carbs under 20g , Moderate protein, and Fat to satiety.
Its a misconception that Keto is calorie restricted its not, You are switching your body’s fuel source from carbs to fat not cutting calories. :muscle:

Start here

For Men no lower than 2000 kcals

20g C / 125g P / 155g F Macros 5 / 25 / 70

16oz of fatty meat is 120g of Protein and 90g of Fat :grinning:
16oz (5 to 6 cups) low carb mixed veggies 15g net Carbs :grinning:
add 4 to 6 tablespoons Butter/Fat to Meals 48g to 72g Fat :heart:

For the Ladies no lower than 1500 kcals

20g C / 82g P / 122g F Macros 5 / 22 / 73

12oz of fatty meat is 80g of Protein and 70g of Fat :grinning:
16oz (5 to 6 cups) low carb mixed veggies 15g to 20g net Carbs :grinning:
add 4 to 6 tablespoons Butter/Fat to Meals 48g to 72g Fat :heart:

Just divide by number of meals :thinking:
