Stalling on fat fast

(What The Fast?!) #21

So are you eating the original 1350 cals M-F, just from different fat sources? Or are you eating 2000 more consistently now?

I’ve upped my calorie intake to around the 1800 mark and despite really struggling with this at first my appetite has improved and I’m now hitting this, plus some, easily.

I’ve also sourced myself some AAA grade ceremonial matcha tea which I take every morning after my ACV with ‘true’ Ceylon cinnamon powder.

Just found out this week that I have really low levels of free testosterone which could go some way in explaining the super long stall I hit…and my ‘refusing to budge’ belly fat.

Unfortunately the NHS are a waste of time in dealing with male hormone issues so it looks like I’ll have to go private to resolve that part of the conundrum.

I just got my hormones tested, I have an inkling I have low testosterone as well.

I’m at a similar place to you right now. Just got under my 100KG stall and currently at 98.9. I feel like a lot of people stall around the 100 mark. I got over it simply by doing a three day fast. Just water, tea and one diet coke. Then BAM, dropped right below it. Fasting is excellent in stalls and helps to reboot your fat burning. I would highly recommend giving it a try!

I have done a ton of fasting. In the past, it has always come right back. I’m a very different case though - that’s not normal for most people.

2 weeks of sustained loss now, very happy with that💪🏻

I would be delighted going forward if I could lose 1-2 pounds a week but I have a feeling it ain’t going to play out like that.

Congrats on breaking the stall.
