Pretty sure it’s not depression. and honestly dont think its vitamin or mineral related either since I had blood work done and all my levels were within normal range. Now alot of those numbers are the low side of normal so I think I am going to try 2 zip fizzes a day along with my regular vitamins and see if that doesnt help my energy stores rise

Your diet sounds low on protein to me.

I have never been so exhausted in my life as when I had sleep apnea. I had heart palpitations I was so exhausted. I woke up every morning thinking i had slept when I had not. I never got into REM phase of sleep. At a sleep lab where I was hooked up to all sorts of electrodes they found out I was awakened something like 100 times per night. So sleep apnea is a real b**ch.
And what speaks against going to a doctor? Take a little blood and check those parameters.
What I find weird is that you are BOTH so tired.

Magnesium blood test Dr.s use is practically worthless. There’s only 1% of the Mg in blood…99% is in the muscles, tissues and other cells. That test can show normal, but you can be very deficient in Mg. Don’t know about the Pot. test, but I’d be suspicious of it too.
Best way to know if you’re Mg deficient is to look at your symptoms - tiredness and fatigue is one of them.
How do I know all this? My Mg blood serum also showed normal - but found out after a couple years of research and trial and error, that I was severely deficient in Magnesium.

Is alcohol involved? Like Chanterella above said, lack of good sleep can cause it, which could be caused by too much alcohol. (even if it’s no carb spirits or low carb beer)

Could it be that you guys have a low level virus or something similar?

Definitely not alcohol

I had a sleep study years ago and was fine. He definitely needs one and I’m certainly not opposed to doing it again
