I can’t watch her either. She’s a food pusher. She makes huge, unhealthy 3-4 course meals for her family and friends. They are required to eat it and then ‘feed’ her voracious appetite (ha!) for validation by “oohing” and “aaahing” over every morsel. “I made your favorite, Bryce? Do you like it? Isn’t it good? Do you want some more?” Ugh. I’m shocked that her kids aren’t all obese.
Pioneer woman calls KETO a fad
Yeah, it’s just not the same without Sue and Mel, is it? And boy, these days Paul Hollywood sure looks like he could benefit from keto!
I prefer the OG GBBS gang too, but I still like it.
I always joke that I don’t like cooking shows, I don’t like reality TV competition shows, my husband is diabetic, I am gluten-intolerant, but I come home from work and watch an episode of the Breat British Baking Show every single day. It feels like it sooths my brain after a hectic day.
I play a word unscrambling game to get my brain off of work. We all have our coping mechanisms.
I had to stop watching it totally. I liked the segments Mary did, I believe she has another show, but haven’t been motivated to look around for it.
Paul always looked like he consumed too many of the goodies.
And most especially these days, lol, though I still wouldn’t kick him out of bed.
Alas! It’s so true that all the good ones are either married or heterosexual.
I think she had to say it was a fad as her show is based on a lot of carbs.
BUT I have to say I have used many a Pioneer Woman Recipes and just adjusted for Keto and they turned out great! Her Lemon Curd is awesome (only swap is the sugar) and the Roasted Red Pepper Pasta (swap the pasta for Palmini or Miracle Rice/Noodles and I add beef.) Both very tasty!
