No pork, shrimp,oysters or anything considered bad in biblical terms

is there anything out there that we are more likely to be familiar with that would compare to the tastes and textures of fried crickets?

They take a lot of flavor of the seasonings you put on them (garlic salt, lemon, etc), but for me they taste a little fishy, like fried sardines or shrimp.

I always have this mental image of cricket legs getting stuck between my teeth. LOL!!

LOL! That is known to happen
