Thank you richard and doug. Today i am hoping is a turning point. I felt icky this morning after my morning coffee (with heavy cream) so i had my smoothie around 9 and felt better. Around 1 I started feeling nauseated so i took it as a que to eat lunc(avocado and smoked salmon and cup of veggie broth with added salt. I know feel better again. I think i need to listen to my body cues as to when i need to “fat up” to get more energy. I also have been monitering my intake on chronometer and it did show me being low on sodium and potassium so i will definitely continue to supplement those. I appreciate all the support and encouraging words. I just need to persevere to get through the rough patch and being new to this i was not expecting to have such withdrawalfrom carbs. Thanks again!! Thanks
Ok. Update. Not doing too bad. Added more salt and fat. Went to vegas for 4 days and was hard to stick to keto but overall did ok(ate at whole foods). Still feeling somewhat crummy on no sugar and low carbs with elevated heart rate. Stil persevering. Accidentally had sugar in gin and tonic at the NFR. No deserts!!
Good to hear you are doing ok. I admire you for sticking to keto while in Vegas! You are doing yourself a really big favour!!! I did the gin and tonic mistake once too while on Vacation. Just live and learn and move on.
