My DR said "impossible"...and "you need to be on Statins!"...so what is a girl to do

I did!!! it was virtual, and an appt in september that’s in person. I like him a lot but honestly he didn’t tell us much we didn’t know as we’ve listened to all his videos etc…
he questioned my avocado a day and suggested a 1/2… my weightloss program that I signed up for because they have a great teen program and wanted to partner with my daughter recommended 1/4 a day. not a recommendation as much as a “ limit”…

I had one a day…

I can’t eat less than one a day so i’ve eliminated them from my diet-:frowning:

but i have bust through a plateau…

avocados and brussels sprouts is what i want-

Avocado = (relatively) high PUFA. Not bad periodically (who doesn’t like guacamole?), but might not be great day after day.

What’s wrong with brussel sprouts? Not bad if cooked in the oven with salt, bacon, butter or EVOO, then drizzled with a bit of (good) balsamic. Even I will eat some like that.
