If you have sufficient bodyfat (25%+) and are new to lifting you should be able to build muscle/lose fat in a calorie deficit but as has been said you’d still want to eat to satiety - particularly if it’s not a very lean look you’re after.

Hey Fred,

Do you take BCAA’s though? I see Dr Berg and Thomas Delaur are sorta against it while on Keto…but I’ve been really thinking about it lately.

Although I’ve lost fat, it just doesn’t seem like I’m putting muscle on like I used to (when I ate stuff like rice, quiona etc).
