Haven’t seen the documentary but I know a drum and bugle corps that emphasizes the shoulder to waist ratio in the all male band by cleverly designed uniforms with dark sides and tapering horizontal stripes; wider at the shoulders narrowing to the Waist. Many of those young men are actually fat but uniform has that attractive illusion.
