Thanks - that’s interesting and certainly a possiblity. Difficult to say if that’s the issue or something else though. Well, I guess for now it’s trying the recommendations one at a time until a solution sticks.

She gained fat at the time - back then though she was sedentary most of the day and not working out.
She says she generally maintains her weight well around that 1600-1800 calorie intake if she is sedentary. However, due to eating a bit above that (still keto sub 20g carbs) - she gained.
