Keto-Mojo is a small operation and they are probably in West Palm Beach for the Low-Carb USA event this weekend. Since their business is in California, they may not be shipping product until they get back.
I have 2 Keto-Mojo kits, one at home and one at work. I use them for Glucose more than Ketones, but since lowering my protein intake, I have started checking ketones more often. When I was eating unlimited amounts of protein on ZC, I would normally get a reading of Lo on the Ketone strip. Spending a dollar on a strip to get a Lo reading is a bit pointless.
I talked with the rep from Keto-Mojo at the Low-Carb USA event in SanDiego. He had testing to back up his claims of accuracy on Glucose. I had recently been very frustrated with the inconsistency of my Onetouch meters at normal BG levels, and had switched to Contour Next to get better accuraccy/consistency. When my A1c dropped to 6.0 my insurance company stopped paying for my test strips, so I started switching from Contour Next to Keto-Mojo. Glucose readings are very consistent between all of my Keto-Mojo and Contour Next Meters.
The website shows 50 packs of Ketone Strips, but I order the 10 packs since I donât test frequently and if they are like glucose strips, they start to age as soon as the package is opened and they are exposed to moisture.
