This is exactly why I prefer to stay away from them on any regular basis. I don’t mind having something with it occasionally, like maybe diet ginger beer for a Dark and Stormy or Moscow Mule every couple of months. But I don’t want to consume something regularly, especially not daily! I also don’t want to prime my ‘sweet tooth’ again! I am good living without ‘sweet’ these days.

I’m the same. For example I had some diet ginger ale during a recent bout of stomach flu, and I allow myself a pop when I’m on an airplane. But it’s very rare. I like the concept behind Paleo and why it is healthy and there are no sweeteners that fit into that model to my thinking.

I am coming back to post on what I’ve found that works if you want a ketoaid without any sweeteners. I am doing 20 oz of ice water, add 1/4 teaspoon of lite salt and serving of unflavored magnesium citrate (there’s a tiny serving scoop in container) and a teaspoon of lemon juice. I have two to three of these a day and my cramping seemingly is gone and I don’t feel light headed. Thanks for all the tips!

If the lemon juice starts to make your teeth sensitive as it did mine after a period of few months, switch to herbal iced tea. That’s what I did!

Water with dissolved salts to taste. What’s the problem?

It taste nasty to some of us. I don’t like the taste of salty water.

Just drink water and get 10 grams of salt a day. Electrolytes imbalance does not cause cramps or literally everyone would have all there muscles cramping every time they were short of electrolytes and that just does not happen. They really do not know what cause cramps. Why do I have lust three muscles that cramp while others have other muscles that cramp? No one knows for sure.

I was using crystal light but I’m trying to quit

I don’t know that I agree. When the cramps come back it’s almost always because I am not taking in enough potassium. I don’t drink Ketoaid on the regular anymore because I rarely get them anymore because I eat half an avocado a day. But they days I miss it -if I go for a few days without, those leg and feet cramps come back in the middle of the night and the only thing that tames them is to get up and drink that lite salt water mixture.

I use to get those, I would wake up in the middle of a dead sleep and get out of bed kicking my leg out in front of me on my way to the fridge to attack the pickle juice… a really comical thing to witness…pickle juice kills it immediately.

If I don’t kick my leg out, the ligaments in my legs knot up and gets even worse in pain (cramps).
