Agree, which is what I meant by the compromised metabolism phrase. I don’t and don’t want to tell people what they should eat. However, I do want to explain to people who are trying to lose weight what works and what doesn’t (from my experience). I am a lifelong dieter (an utterly failed one up to 11 months ago), and I now know what works and what doesn’t. HCLF does not work. Simples.
Keto getting bad name due to Ketone strips use
“Well, you see, officer, it’s like this: I was just walking along, minding my own business, when suddenly, out of nowhere, there appeared this birthday cake, and I tripped over it and fell face-first into the cake. And before I even realized what had happened I had eaten the whole thing! So it wasn’t my fault, honest!”
There are 2 sides to this debate.
On one side the stixs are very helpful in the beginning as
yet on the other hand as my adaption advances the occasional reading
when the stixs report no ketones yet the blood monitor confirms otherwise have become more prevalent.
This would suggest (my own path) that as adaption progresses the sticks become less reliable.
They’ve never “worked” for me, and I got tired of aiming at them. I have a hard enough time hitting larger targets.
I was being facetious, Couldn’t resist playing to stereotype.
No apologies necessary! You were being helpful. I’m being obtuse.
I should go on an obtuse fast.
