Should you calorie count or should you try to keep your calories close if not higher than before
Just starting out wanted advice
My goal has always been to be satiated after eating. Satiation allowed me to lengthen times between meals. If weight or fat loss is your goal, allowing digestion time of aprox 4 hrs, the length of time past 4 hrs theoretically to your next meal is for use of your body fat stores for energy.
Itās a lot of trial and error to see what works for you.
I try to drink two large glasses of water very early in the day. That seems to help me and then drink more throughout the day as I feel the need.
Itās good to ask questions. Question everything
Forget calories ⦠count carbs not calories. I lost weight (fat) eating 3000 calories a day with no exercise
There are zero problem with your questions, feel free to ask them. Even if the answer usually wonāt be very precise as it canāt be, we are all different and even the same person may need different things under different circumstances.
No idea, as much as I want Itās a lot, I am a thirsty type (especially in the evenings for some reason but obviously high temperature and heavy exercise are triggering too). Some of us donāt need to worry about water intake while others should. As almost always, itās individual.
Again, itās individual. If I just eat to satiation (and I am prone to eat more than that), I eat way too much and stay fat - though it depends on my diet rules. For some, itās the food, for others, fasting is needed as well.
Food choices are quite important but itās individual how important and if you need to focus on it intentionally. If you have a huge energy need, itās probably easier but with the wrong food, it still could be difficult. But the other factors easily change what is the right food choice⦠If I eat twice, fatty meat easily triggers massive overeating (along with my other food items, at least. I canāt eat only meat) but if I eat only once, I need fattier choices. Makes perfect sense to me. Itās something you should figure out for yourself.
If you are having symptoms of keto flu, you are probably not getting the magnesium you think you are⦠I supplement every evening, and still sometimes get charlie horse symptoms. Sadly, our soils are depleted, as modern agriculture does not add it back to the soil. I use sea salt to salt all my foods(sometimes in the form of Herbamayer), and add about a teaspoon to a half gallon of water.
