So today is 1 month Keto results 8 pounds the very first week and nothing since I’m not doing this just for weight loss also for health as well . I haven’t experienced anything health wise yet as in skin or sleep nothing I have noticed my taste buds it’s almost as nothing taste good lately and I feel like I am running out of options. I was a huge binge eater eating boxes of sweets to entire pizzas every day as well as of and on WW for several years I just feel as though going from eating a billion calories every day for so long to this I should definitely be seeing something not Even my close fit better . I guess what I am getting at is it’s hard to tell people I’m changing my life ,but then they look at me and see nothing has changed I’m just hoping for something soon the last thing I want is to go back to the sugar monster I was before.

Thanks
Stacey

4 weeks is still early days with keto- stick with it & you’ll be glad you did… fat adaptation can take 6-8 weeks, sometimes longer, & the energy you’ll have then is great, & you’ll feel other benefits too. Just remind yourself that you’re fixing your metabolism & it will take a little time. I had spots for the first few weeks, that cleared up & my skin improved on my face. It’s not a quick fix diet- that’s what I thought when I started, but stuck with it the second time, & now it’s a way of life, not a diet.
There’s loads of keto recipes online, & on here; try some new things to get your taste buds enthusiastic about keto! Have you tried the fathead pizza recipe?
There’s lots of very knowledgeable people on here- if you post what you’re eating, macros & your statistics, then people might be able to see if you’re going wrong at all.
Have a look through the Newbie section, there’s lots of posts from others in a similar position & getting disappointed… there’s good advice in this discussion: Reasonable Expectations
Don’t give up, I’ve stopped my sugar cravings with keto; I was a carb monster before!!

Hang in there. I am losing VERY slow but steady. Take measurements once a month and see if they are changing. My inches are going more than the pounds. I think I lost 6 pounds the first 4 weeks. I lose about a pound a week. That will add up in a year though and I will be over halfway to my goal!

Can you give us a rundown of what a typical days food looks like? Be as specific as possible including portion sizes. Also your stats.

Maybe we can trouble shoot with you.
