I don’t know if I need it in my life, but I find it incredibly exciting that it is flying off the shelves! It’s good to know there are so many low carbers out there🙂
Just found this at Aldi
That is the most exciting part of it. There is a bunch of people out there that can’t mentally give up the bread. By far the most common excuse that I’ve heard of people that refuse to do Keto is that “I can’t give up bread”. If something like this can help get people to a healthier weight then that is great.
We have similar bread here in Australia. You’d have to make up your own mind as to whether you feel like the individual ingredients are healthy/acceptable to you.
I really wanted gluten to be fine as I thought it might be a good ingredient to add structure. The more I looked into it, the more I was convinced that it was probably not good for most people even if they are not considered gluten intolerant, (bummer).
I have heard bad things about soybean oil too so personally I’d like to keep that to a minimum if I consume it at all.
If it works for you & it’s a better choice for you than something else you might otherwise eat though, I say go for it.
Nope, not for me, sorry.
You can go to YouTube and find cleaner ingredients on how to make bread.

Wheat has lectins, so it’s toxic, basically… all this sounds like frankenfood. I think it’s weird how omnivorous keto people think vegetarians are crazy for eating Beyond Meat but will go ahead and eat processed bread imitations.
Not to be a buzz kill though because I’ve been really excited about things like this too… Just really liking it the closer I get to a whole food diet.
Buen provecho though
Just emailed my husband a massive shopping list for Aldi. He’s on a business trip, and there is an Aldi store one block from where he’s staying. So, I send him off with the shopping bags, and insulated totes. (The closest Aldi store is over 100 miles away from home, so, he gets to do the shopping when he’s near one.)
They have the most delicious uncured turkey bacon ever! The slices are enormous. We also get fresh salmon, butter, cheeses, organic veggies (and berries), and whatever other goodies he and the kids will enjoy. Love that place!!!
