Maybe that means it’s well optimized, and we can get by with losing a little lean body mass in the short term so we can run down that ruminant we eat to replace the missing Amino Acids.
One of the things I’ve had shoved into my “learn or die” stack lately is the extreme case of that myth that “if a little is good, more is better” that so many people live by without even realizing it.
Cardio exercise is good, right? One of things about the Afib I’m living with is there’s solid data showing that no cardio causes it, and so does too much cardio. The mortality curve is U shaped. If you do nothing, you can get Afib, add in some cardio and the percentage of people with Afib is lower. Do too much cardio and the percentage goes back up.
It seems like the critical number is “a few” hours per week.
