I wouldn’t think so - but it’s individual. If you feel like eating 400-450g chicken in one go, it probably does good to you. I would be starving after this much but I have that with 1kg chicken too as it is one of my non-satiating items. 600g pork of beef, that happens sometimes, it’s a lovely sized satiating meal for me (and I probably don’t want much more food on that day). Some carnivores eat way more at once because they are hungry (usually in a nice, fat adapted way but still, they feel the need for nutrients) and their body says so. I tend to follow my bodily cues, it hardly brings me astray when I eat meat (except chicken as it can’t satiate me but if it’s not my main meat, that is okay too).
I don’t have links but Bikman talks about studies regarding protein not being a concern for insulin raise when it’s not paired with carbs. Most people on this forum eat a decent amount (or way more) protein, not a tiny one, having success and benefits from keto. So I wouldn’t worry about too much protein UNLESS the amount is really big and/or it causes problems. It’s quite rare to overdo it. some of us can’t do that. Therapeutic keto is different though.
