How long did it take until you felt full and we’re fat adapted. I started this in feb. I have had a couple of days of cheating. My blood ketones are between 0.5 and higher but I am hungry! Thanks Julie

I thought this may be interesting on amount? of carbs considered, eating time, meal frequency and cycling in:
Basic Adaptive Protocol (carbs):
1. 20 grams of carbs the first 3 Days* (at 3 meals a day - maybe for a week?) then increase to;
2. 30 grams (at 2 meals a day for a week) then to 40 grams a day (at one meal a day… - evening: circadian hook).
Then when my goal weight or physique is reached; then back to three meals a day at 30 to 40 grams of carbs (which I can go well over depending on physical activity levels and length-of-time-long-term in Ketosis?).
*should be in Ketosis by day 3?
Note: This is my personal way of doing this and it works for me! May not work for everyone with stubborn metabolism, but the idea here, is to not SHOCK the metabolism into something it is not use too (less sugar) i.e. giving into hunger and cravings etc. and increasing long-term tolerance and sustainability of using a different fuel for energy along with gradual detoxification in the liver! 30 to 40 grams of carbs? Watcha-talkin-about? I think it is a healthier way of doing this, just from personal experience of bumps in the road I was hitting and see other peeps hitting… And additionally it does not matter if your seeing ketones (does not hurt to take a peek) on a urine stick or with a blood meter, your body will eventually start using ketones with lower carb and sugar intake regardless. Going into this will make you healthier and weight loss is only a nice side effect!
