How much potassium, magnesium, and sodium per day?

Hi all,

In my last fast, I really dug the pickle juice tip.

Would like to systemetize it into my next fast.

Let’s say I wanted to get enough potassium, magnesium, and sodium each day-- what’s a good amount for each of those?

Thinking I might drink like 6 ounces of pickle juice in the morning, mid-day, and evening for a total of 18 ounces… would that cover me?

According to the keto subreddit your electrolytes should be something along the lines of:
5000 mg of sodium
1000 mg of potassium
300 mg of magnesium

You can take magnesium in through the skin (I.e. Epsom salts) rather than having to drink it…

1000 mg is low, should be more like 4000 to 5000 per day and sodium much higher

#5

Potassium 4500mg

Magnesium 420mg

Sodium 1-Shovel full

I am up to 9g of sodium by tonight is that too much? And I was out sweating butt off and drinking some water, but I think that’s where my icky feeling is coming from, if you are going to be sweating a lot or have BPH and pee a lot then I guess I would need more sodium right?
