How do you know your macros? Do you plan what you eat?

Three hundred seventy-one grams of protein is too much.

There is a difference between meat and protein. The figure of 381 grams in my earlier post is how much meat one would need to eat in order to get 95.25 g of protein. As I believe I mentioned, most meats are about 25% protein, so if you were aiming to eat 100 g of protein you would need to eat 400 g of meat.

The equivalent in ounces, as I believe I already mentioned, is that an ounce of meat contains roughly 7 g of protein. That makes a good rule of thumb. So again, if you wanted to eat 100 g of protein you would aim for 100 / 7 = 14 oz. of meat.

I hope this helps.

yup, me too. It is what it is, and it isn’t fixable. So we live with it. Until they invent time travel and i can yell at Younger Me to not do it, I’m in the situation I’m in.

I’d be like, “Step back from the glazed doughnuts, and no one will get hurt!” But I probably wouldn’t have listened to myself, no matter what.
