You could be, this is mostly speculation on my end due to the times in which you are eating. You may not be diabetic but you may also not have an optimized metabolism where your insulin has dropped between your meals. Testing blood glucose could help in determining this, but lets say your insulin is up for 5 hrs after a meal. You’re eating roughly every 3 hrs, so your metabolism isn’t hitting fat burning until you’re sleeping.
I personally feel better with less meals, but its because my goals are to maintain or slightly lose. I’ve im trying to gain ill eat more meals and more fat because it takes greater energy. So look at your goals and determine for you. it takes time.
