Funny note about dog food. My senior Cavalier King Charles spaniel has been plagued with skin allergies and was 10 pounds overweight. Expensive prescription diets didn’t help and I didn’t want to buy the vet a new car. I decided to start feeding him shredded chicken with green beans and fish oil and cut out the biscuits and treats he was always begging for. Any people food we share with him now is also keto. He’s lost 6 pounds and the allergies cleared up. Guess keto helps dogs too!

@JulieH That’s funny and beautiful! I just googled Keto dogs and there’s suprisingly a lot of product and info about it. It just proves that biology and diet is consistent in all animals.

On a side note, my neighbor has a treadmill and his Springer Spaniel loves to get on it and trot along happily for 10 minutes at a time. The dog literally walks himself.
