There is something about salt. If I’m hungry, putting salt under my tongue generally lessens or eliminates the hunger. I don’t understand why.

I have had issues with episodic edema and salty processed foods such as meats and cheeses seemed to trigger it. Cutting back on those and using a table salt that was a third potassium chloride helped. Later on I added potassium, magnesium and calcium each as citrates to my table salt mix and it helped a lot more.
