Coolest little cooking tool ever 🙂

Ohhhhh you’ve tied into one of my eyes-wide I LOVE THIS STUFF triggers. I’m a tech freak. (I’m the sort that despite hating the violation of privacy, bought an amazon echo about 5 minutes after they first came out – when it was on discount with the first promo – because the Star Trekkian idea of being able to say, “Computer! …?” was so awesome.)

I will have to get one though I am not yet sure what I need it for.

Not to mention, you can use it to detect “cold spots” if you’re in a purportedly haunted location.

BTW, you can get an old air-pop popcorn popper and use it to roast beans as well. I’ve used those and they work okay, you do get beans really shooting out when they’re done, but the batch is small. I’ve even heard of people using the Whirly-Pop type, although those won’t get as hot.

We used to roast our own coffee beans outside with a small propane burner and a hand-crank popcorn popper.

You have to use a cast iron skillet in between the propane burner and the popcorn popper because the metal is so thin on the popper the flame of the propane will burn a hole in your popper.
