Never heard of this. I believe gut health will be the next big thing. I have read quite a bit of information on pro and pre-biotics. Unless you know what bacteria you are missing (hard to determine) supplementing with a probiotic to better your gut health is simply a crap shoot and probably a waste of your money. Prebiotics on the other hand seem to be where the real differences can be made with gut health. Things such as fermented foods and resistant starches are also showing a lot of promise especially when trying to re-colonize the gut biome. The best way is through food.

Coconut oil may be effective. Lauric acid in it seems to kill a lot of bad guys including the two main ones which cause dental plaque in the mouth.
To control SIBO, I recommend lactobacillus reuterii. You can get it in supplement form. I make yogurt with it.
