Butter Question

(Mike W.) #21

Thats up? That’s our normal price.

(Todd Allen) #22

Creeping up, last time I got KG at Costco was maybe 2 months ago at $7.59 for 24 oz.

Trader Joes has it for under $3, not sure of the exact price

I was using Kerrygold pre-keto because I didn’t use a lot of butter. I have gone through three sticks this week, so I use a cheaper butter now.

(Ron) #25

Nope, No way am I giving up my Kerrygold!:no_entry_sign::no_entry_sign:

(Empress of the Unexpected) #26

I use the saved money to buy Ribeyes!

(Ron) #27

I’ll pass on Ribeyes and eat chicken hearts before giving up the KG.:stuck_out_tongue:

@mtncntrykid Hey, I know the benefits but…as I kid I hated eating. Turns out at 47 I was diagnosed with an atrial septal defect, but they didn’t have imaging techniques when I was young. My mother, in her infinite wisdom, thought chicken liver might nourish me. (She later admitted she hated the stuff). While my mother was busy in the kitchen I would be in the dining room eating. We had a lot of vases and bookshelves around. Boy, did that chicken liver ever end up in surprising places (as did most of what I had to eat). Poor mom!!!

Things we did as kids???:exploding_head::roll_eyes::wink:

And funny. I developed an appetite at 15. When I had the atrial septal defect fixed 12 years ago, my doctor warned that my heart had been burning around 500 calories a day with the wacky plumbing. That’s what had kept me thin. Yep, I started gaining slowly but surely after that.
