Are zombies ketogenic?

Dirty keto, for sure!

Keto, the cure for zombies. We have nothing to worry about.

Cholesterol is good stuff. Curing zombies is a great evolution of the thread. This may change horror movies forever.

But Omega 3 fatty acids (DHA) may be even better.

Maybe even ALA (parent omega 3 fatty acid that can be sourced from plants. It is a substrate that can be used to generate ketones. And is why people can formulate a ketovegitarian diet))

Maybe zombies are chasing Omega 3 fatty acids and Omega 3 fatty acid substrates, as well as ketones and cholesterol? It certainly would improve their skin and hair health.

Ancestors in Africa cracked open skulls to eat brains to access Omega 3 fatty acids from a source that is remote from being able to hunt fish or forage molluscs (oysters etc). They also got long chain Omega 3 fatty acid substrates (ALA) from plant sources… ducks behind zombie proof shelter … something that is healthy in grains. @Rajseth @richard

Crikey, are we descended from zombies? Or should we actually all be eating more brains? Based on this thread: Looking for recipes with Cow Brains , we are not keen to eat brains. @CarrieBrown

The first ONE MINUTE of this YouTube clip has Dr. DiNicolantonio PhD takling with Mike Mutzel from High Intensity Health about this subject

In other fossils at the same site Dart saw evidence of meat-eating, such as baboon skulls bearing signs of fracture and removal of the brain case prior to fossilization, with v-shaped marks on the broken edges and small puncture marks in the skull vault.

I’ll coin a new ketogenic book title right here.

"The Zombie Cure"

AWESOME! :+1:

I LOVE THIS THREAD!!! :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

(And yes, it’s a complete sentence, you
pompous
software!)

#19

Paul, you’ve come over to the dark side!

Head cheese used to be considered a delicacy, you know. Laura Ingalls Wilder wrote about it in Little House in the Big Woods. Do you suppose the zombies know something we have forgotten?

#21

Hmmm…

(I came for the weight loss and stayed for my sanity... ) #22

“hair loss” … only if done wrong… my hairstylist always asks me what I’ve been doing to double/triple the amount and volume of my hair…

Has a Vegan created this chart? sounds so negative :joy::joy:

#23

I’m experiencing hair loss at the moment, and it seems to be a common occurrence with other people on the forum as well. Saying that, it’s not specific to keto but rather from any change in diet and a side effect of rapid weight loss (I lost 44lbs in 4 months). But I do know it’s not permanent and it will grow back (hopefully thicker as you say)

And no, I created this. I’m not negative about keto, I’m just being cheeky. :joy::joy::joy:

Uuuups, sorry… me and my big mouth…
Well I had hairloss at the beginning too… but I was fairly malnourished back then. figuring out my zinc, magnesium and Vitamin requirements helped a lot…
Of course I don’t know how stuff changes for men though

#25

Yeah…I’ve been called many things in my life, but never have I EVER been called a…a…VEGAN!! (for shame!!):laughing:

I know… about the worst possible insult :scream::scream::scream:

I swear I will be more carful with the V word from now on :bowing_woman:

:joy::joy::joy:

Was it really called “head cheese”?

#28

Yep. It’s called head cheese because back in the 1700’s the word “cheese” wasn’t used just in reference to diary items, but instead referred to a process of forming ingredients into a loaf, pressing it under weight, and chilling until solid. This was known as “cheesing.”

(You've tried everything else; why not try bacon?) #29

An essential part of cheese-making, from what I have read. So cheese is really cheesed milk. Huh.

I can see how putting people under pressure might get them cheesed off, so to speak.:grin:

#30

SAME HERE!

#31

I was listening to Tara Couture describe head cheese and how easy it is to make. Plus the resources, pigs’ heads, can be obtained for free. Delicious!

In my day job I work in the animation universe.

Came across this short clip from an animation competition. Made me think that zombies will definitely take over the Earth. (look how the pitiful human protects his cake :zombie: ) Yes, Reality and I had a messy divorce some time ago.

(Full Metal KETO AF) #33

I like eating brains. Kind of like tofu made from fat. You can flavor them however you like because they don’t have much taste on their own. Second nutritionally only to liver. Probably the best source of DHA around. :cowboy_hat_face:
