Anyone Keto Folks here have Autoimmune Issues?

My wife has mctd,I will say a few fixes that helped her so much it’s actually unbelievable and we have people say it’s in your mind, but does that even matter if it works so what. # one thing and this is the Gods truth. Bone broth. She has been on this for about 3.5 years. She golfs 4to5 days a week. Knits a lot. 3 +yrs ago before bone broth she only golfed 1/2 days a week, she also had to wear two golf gloves with wrist support, now she wears no gloves at all. She golfs and sometimes comes home and knits. Never never could she do this. I use to make the broth but now buy it from kettle and fire,it is the best you can find, a $$$$ but who cares if it’s your health. If you talk your wife into this it’s not 2/3 days a week,it’s every day for ever. #2 is 3 months ago my dr recommended low carb because of diabetes, and she went on it to support me and lost 20 lbs and she now even feels better.

I had serum negative arthritis, allergies and extreme IBS and type 2 diabetes.

IBS pain now gone unless I eat anything with wheat in…I occasionally “test” to see if the reactivity has reduced. It hasn’t! Type 2 diabetes reversed completely.

I still have a lot of knee pain, but that is due to deterioration physically, torn ligaments etc. not automimmunity now afaik.

I found the carnivore diet settles my allergies and IBS really well.
I have a lot of problems with lectins, so am now avoiding pulses, seeds and grains but do eat macadamias…trying to add in some variety.

Working with a keto infomed dietitian…I wasn’t able to wing it. Started keto with a lot of home made bone broth, then introduced some fasting, now mostly carnivore.

I have a neighbour who has bad psoriatic arthritis who saw me improving visibly…she is now doing a lot better on keto with intermittent broth fasting, she isn’t carnivore.
