I’ve had duck eggs this week. I never problems with this particular farm, but I also haven’t been able to eat all duck eggs.

The ducks from this farm are pasture raised with supplemental non-gmo corn raised on the property that is only fertilized with duck manure. I can consistently eat these eggs, even the whites if I hard boil. I haven’t ever tried them scrambled. They are also a $1 an egg… and I’ve only found them at the food co-op an hour away. I emailed them today to see if their eggs are available closer to me.

I actually live in one of the largest duck-producing areas of the the United States, but most of the ducks and eggs go to restaurants, ethnic markets, and the coasts. My eggs have Chinese on the label even though they come from the Amish community one county over.
