Acceptable energy drinks?

I have a CVS meter (the small, skinny one) and an Accu-Chek Aviva. The CVS one is more responsive and less expensive.

Personally, I don’t like coffee. However, I have a cup along with taking a 200 mg caffeine tablet.

For an individual who refused to have a cup of coffee, a caffeine tablet works.

The cost of a caffeine tablet is around 4 cents.

I was originally a tea drinker, but started working in a place that provided coffee but not tea. It took a while, but now I actually prefer coffee somewhat, though I do still enjoy a good cuppa tay from time to time. A caffeine tablet is surely efficient, but not nearly as pleasurable, lol! :tea:

Not necessarily. I never felt anything after drinking a lot of coffee and tea. I can drink them at 2am and go to sleep just fine.
Energy drinks and Coke always worked though.

I heard similar things from others but a tad differently, sometimes Coke doesn’t work for someone either. Or tea or coffee works but the other doesn’t…

I drink them and enjoy them. They don’t seem to have a big influence on weight. I haven’t checked glucose so I am not sure about that. Red Bull, Diet Mountain Dew, and Monster Zero all seem to work in delivering caffeine to my system. However, mostly I just drink black coffee in the morning. I don’t keep the energy drinks in the house so I only drink them when I am on a road trip and stop at a gas station, for example.

As others have said in this thread - test for yourself!

Luckily, I was able to get my walk/jog in yesterday without an energy drink but today has been one of those days of just nonstop madness.
I think I will stop at the store on my way home and grab a couple just in case I need one today or the next couple of days.
