What did you take a photo of on your walk today? PART 2!

(Susan) #61

That was nice luck, old coins are very neat.

(Jane) #62

It really was luck because he usually throws the spare change in the tip jar by the register w/o looking at the coins. Must have caught his eye before he tossed them in.

This is a small, family-run restaurant so we always pay cash for the meals and tip in cash.

(Susan) #63

Very nice =).

#64

Two early birds on a morning walk…

(Ellen) #65

Chew jetty temple in Georgetown.

(Susan) #66

That temple is magnificent, the statue is really awesome too.

(Edith) #67

I believe this is a female eastern tiger swallowtail.

It hung out for quite some time on the purple cone flowers.

(Edith) #68

Just think how long that coin has been in use.

(Susan) #69

That butterfly is beautiful.

(Ellen) #70

There’s loads there, that’s why I want to go back on my own so can see more, plus the fort & other stuff.

#71

Found these in the garden today. Blue-tailed lizard eggs, at least 5, and the mama (papa?) next to them.

(Susan) #72

I see the eggs but not the parent? This is very cool though.

#73

If you look above the eggs in the photo, I think it’s the black shiny tail with the white stripe down the center.

(Susan) #74

Oh yes, I see it now! Thanks, I was so blind, gee =).

(Eric - The patient needs to be patient!) #75

Very cool.

#76

See the long black bit with the white stripes above the eggs?

Edit to add: I always regret not reading all the replies before I answer, lol.

(traci simpson) #77

I think this is a mosquito!?

('Jackie P') #78

Looks vicious :astonished:

#79

From what planet lol? That thing is massive :grimacing:

(traci simpson) #80

It was just chillin on this truck!!!
