Wow. Even diabetes.co.uk is calling BS on the AHA now. Ouch.

This AHA statement does not set the conflicting record straight, it is no more than a prefabricated set of interpretations. Therefore, the input from the AHA is not worth much and probably doesnā€™t justify any such dietary restriction. http://www.diabetes.co.uk/in-depth/american-heart-association-doubles-anti-saturated-fat-stance/

diabetes.co.uk are the low carb supporting siteā€¦ I just checked diabetes.org.uk which are the mainstream charity one who advocate avoiding sat fat but they seem to have ignored the AHA article completelyā€¦

Hereā€™s an interesting review of the coconut controversy by Mike Mutzel who promotes keto.

I recently watched a video on YouTube by KetoGeek interviewing Dr. Zsofia Clemens and I think she said that coconut oil was bad for you and he said that the AHA agreed with her, but she didnā€™t explain why and her accent is a bit difficult to understand. Has anyone else heard this?

This is the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eSCMt5F0ldA but is quite a long video and I think was mentioned nearer the end.
