The Ketogenic Forums work on trust.
When you create a fresh account you start out as a visitor. The more you engage with the Forums the more access you will get. It’s called a Trust level. Eventually as you become more trusted by the system you will be able to flag spam, or offensive and even hide and block users.
Trust level 0 - visitor
Everyone who creates a fresh account is at this level
At trust level 0 you can;

see the Keto Chat forum

see the Site Feedback forum

There will be limits to what you can post

You can only add one image to a post

You can not upload attachments to posts

you can only have 2 links or tag more than 2 people per post
Trust level 1 - Basic User
Everyone invited into the forum starts out at this level.
Also visitors can be promoted to this level when they
- read at least 30 posts
- enters at least 5 topics
- spends at least 10 mins reading posts
At Trust level 1 you can;

see the General Health forum

see the Health sub-forums (Type 2 diabetes, PCOS, Tests, etc)

see the Progress sub-forum Before and After

see the Community sub-forum Trading post

see the SPAM SPAM SPAM forum … although why you would want to

You can;
- flag posts (help us keep out the spam)
- hide posts when more than 5 people have flagged them
- edit wikis
- Upload images
Trust level 2 - Member
Basic User can be promoted to this level when they have;
- visited the forum at least 15 days
- like at least 1 post
- received at least 1 like
- entered at least 20 topics
- read at least 100 topics
- spends at least 60 mins reading posts
At Trust level 2 you can;
- Invite other people into topics
- use group PMs
Trust level 3 - Leader
Regulars can be promoted to leaders when they have;
- visited the forum at least 50 of the past 100 days
- have read 25% of topics created
- received at least 20 likes
… and have not;
- received more than 5 spam or offensive flags
- been suspended
At Trust level 3 you can;

see the Admin forum

see the Admin forums Mod lounge sub-forum

You can;
- rename topics and move them into different forums
- immediately hide spam posts by visitors (no need to wait for 4 others to flag them)
- make wikis
So you see, by trusting our community we can grow beyond the 10,000 person community on FaceBook, to one that can scale up to the size of the Diabetes epidemic that is facing us.
